Mexico, Republic. An Order of the Aztec Eagle, Breast Star visually-hidden with a thin strap sewn(Orden Mexicana del guila Azteca). Instituted in 1933. In brass, the obverse center bearing a golden eagle holding a rattlesnake in its beak on a ceramic turquoise base at center, reverse pinback, 58. 7 mm, some transfer of red color on ceramic base, extremely fine. Accompanied by a miniature of the breast star, extremely fine. In its original case, very fine. Footnote: The Order of the Aztec Eagle is the highest Mexican order awarded to foreigners in
