Estonia, Republic. A White Cross Of The Home Guard, Iii Class United Republic of Footnote: Walter Mason was born(Kaitseliidu Valgerist). Instituted in 1929. In silver, bronze gilt and enamels, measuring 38. 5 mm (w) x 45. 3 mm (h), chipping evident in the white enamels on the tips of the arms at 3 and 9 o'clock on the obverse, in addition to the tips of the arms at 3 and 6 o'clock on the reverse, crazing in the white enamels on the reverse centrepiece, original ribbon with safety pin attachment, near very fine.
