Class Knight Commander for Civil Merit, c. 1930 Hold 148 mm x 224 mm(Ordo Sancti Gregorii Magni Ordine di San Gregorio Magno). Instituted September 1st, 1831. Constructed of silver gilt, consisting of a Maltese Cross with ball finials, the obverse with a central blue enameled circular disc bearing the leftward facing bust of St. Gregory, circumscribed Gregorius Magnus in capitalized lettering, the reverse with a similar central blue enameled circular disc inscribed Pro Deo et Principe (For God and Ruler) in
