This is because, outside of Mexico it is impossible to define any distillate with the name Tequila. Distillerie Coqlicorne imports directly from Mexico a syrup obtained exclusively from blue agave. This syrup is fermented in a 4000 litre vat and distilled twice in a copper still. Produced in small batches,
