A Luftwaffe issue Krim Shield (Krimschild), constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a shield depicting a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs (three previously repaired, one original to the badge) to a magnetic backplate with a dark grey wool liner indicating Luftwaffe issue,
