Mid-Victorian Diamond Snowflake Pendant cartier surrounded by a halo ofDATE: Victorian, c. 1870 An exceptional Victorian snowflake pendant (with detachable brooch fittings) dating from the 1870s. The quality and craftsmanship are particularly fine, with delicate openwork forming various motifs common to the period: tulips, leaves, petals and scrolls, all combining to form the overall snowflake design. It's set with around 3. 25 carats of old and rose cut diamonds, set in silver, and 15 karat gold backed. Whoever made it
