San Martin, Jose de - Autograph Document Signed 1811 Autographs Singers 50 or less D the title character of JakeArgentine general (1778 1850) and the primary leader of the southern and central parts of South America's successful struggle for independence from the Spanish Empire. A wonderful note written in Spanish signed by the General at the bottom of the manuscript and by Ignacio Barcel. In this document, the Argentine leader speaks about Chile and recommends Jose Ignacio Barcel (father of the Chilean jurist Jose Maria Barcel 1835 1887) from the Chilean army
